Jamie Hutchinson is a partner in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member its Private Equity and Technology Companies Groups. Mr. Hutchinson also serves on the firm's Executive Committee. He practices in the areas of corporate, securities and private equity transactional law, primarily on behalf of private investment funds and their portfolio companies. Mr. Hutchinson is a key contributor to the Goodwin Procter Founders Workbench, an online resource for start-ups, emerging companies and the entrepreneurial community. He joined Goodwin Procter in 2006.
WORK FOR CLIENTS
Mr. Hutchinson’s practice involves a full range of domestic and cross-border corporate and commercial transactions, including leveraged buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, direct secondary and private company liquidity programs, joint ventures and general corporate matters for public and private companies, private investment groups, and family offices. Mr. Hutchinson works with companies across a broad range of industries, including Internet and technology based businesses, financial service companies and consumer products firms.

Mr. Hutchinson speaks regularly on finance and mergers and acquisitions for various events and organizations, including the American Management Association and the National Center for Continuing Education.

Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Mr. Hutchinson was a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Hogan & Hartson.
