Steve Adams is a partner in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of the Securities and Corporate Finance Practice Group. Mr. Adams has practiced at Goodwin Procter since 1996.
Work for Clients
Mr. Adams represents investment managers and corporations in all aspects of their corporate finance transactions. He has broad experience with public offerings by management investment companies and public corporations. He has represented issuers, underwriters, placement agents and investors in registered offerings, private placements and offshore offerings of debt and equity securities. Mr. Adams’ transactional practice is focused on acquisitions, recapitalizations and other strategic transactions involving investment management firms.
In addition to his corporate finance work, Mr. Adams represents publicly held corporations and investment management firms as outside general counsel, providing advice in all aspects of corporate governance, disclosure and securities law compliance.
Professional Experience
Mr. Adams served on active duty as an officer in the United States Air Force from 1987 to 1993.
