Legal Skills

Legal Skills

New associates participate in business law or litigation workshops. These are designed to get you started with practical, on-the-ground information that you’ll use every day. You might learn to draft key corporate documents, manage factual investigations, or any number of other basic skills. By the end of these workshops, you’ll be very well prepared to handle your early assignments.

We also offer several formal training series created specifically for your first few years of practice. These courses help you further develop professional skills and gain more experience with critical legal concepts and documents. From time to time you’ll attend a weekly or bi-weekly interactive training session, with many opportunities to discuss day-to-day issues and ask questions. We’ll send you back to your office with new strategies and ideas you can implement right away.

Of course career development and advancement isn’t just for entry-level and junior associates. Mid-level and senior associates also attend formal training programs, including a complete mock trial, interactive contract drafting and advanced legal opinion drafting.
